We are a boutique cooking school and event space located in Columbus, Ohio.

We believe cooking for others is a gift that should be enjoyed and shared. Our passionate Chef Instructors craft 40 new classes each season, and we love to customize private and corporate cooking events. Our table is always set and ready to welcome new guests.

We invite you to come cook with us. We have four class formats: Hand’s On, Chef’s Table, Around the Island and Demonstration; all skill levels are welcome.

Jewels of the Season Sugared Cranberries

At the Farmhouse, we love using cranberries throughout the season to add glamour to our desserts, salads, cocktails, and cheese boards. To turn them into little jewels, sugar them and make them sweet! It takes a night of soaking in warm maple syrup to transform them into a delicious berry that can then be rolled in sparkling sugar.

Italian Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Wandering around Italy and stumbling on a chocolate festival was a very fun happenstance! The booth with the longest lines had this beautiful display of strawberries, that were put in a cup, drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream.

How to Make a Salmon Gateau

I always say there are certain recipes you only make for people you love! This might be one of them. This is a Salmon Gateau from Harrods Food Hall in London. It is based on the French Mille Crepe Cake, which is crepes layered with pastry cream in about 20 thin layers.
